"no Game Boys were harmed during the filming of this video"
Here's some great object music made using only the Game Boy. For more experimental 8-bit music, visit Gnarl-O-Rama blog.

No, I don't like coffee. Oh really?!
Now this was such a delightful discovery for me.
In 1957, the legendary puppeteer Jim Henson, best known as a creator of The Muppets was approached by a local coffee company to produce commercials for Wilkins Coffee.
The ads starred the cheerful Wilkins, who liked Wilkins Coffee, and the grumpy Wontkins, who hated it. Wilkins would often do serious harm to Wontkins in the ads such as blowing him up, stabbing him with a knife, smashing him with a club, among many other violent acts.
From 1957 to 1961, Henson made around 179 commercials for Wilkins Coffee and other Wilkins products.

pixelated fashion.
The 8-bit graphics trend in fashion started few years ago and is still pretty much alive and kicking. The latest delightful example of using pixels in fashion is Japanese fashion designer Kunihiko Morinaga's latest fall collection. I love those shoes and socks.
Another great way of using 8-bit graphics is jewelery by studio Mike and Maaike.
But my personal favorite is this geeky and yet so sexy 8-bit pantyhose. However, I couldn't tell for sure if they are real or photoshopped but I would definitely like to get my hands on them.
